GLYN WHITING ARTIST AND PRINT MAKER
Glyn Whiting was born in 1950 in Hereford, U.K. and went to Hereford collage of art in the 60’s. During the 70’s Glyn traveled the world working in design eventually ending up in New Zealand.
Glyn started painting again part time in 1995 and after several exhibitions moved back to his Herefordshire roots to become a full time artist.
He opened The Old Forge Gallery in 1998 in Pembridge and specialised in watercolours and oils of the local landscape and villages. His love of motorsport also led to painting F1 and MotoGP. Over the years Glyn has also become a proficient portrait artist, and has painted numerous commissions.
In 2012 the gallery moved to Leominster and ran until it was sold in 2014. Glyn now paints from his home deep in the Herefordshire countryside and from where he sells original paintings and a wide range of giclee prints both locally and online.
His work is in private collections from Auckland to Amsterdam and beyond.
